Description

Finally a picture with a background. The perspective looks a bit off to me but honestly I'm too lazy to try to fix it >_< and I was also too lazy to draw the paws so I covered them LOL.
I swear sloth is my sin ._.

Hm, well, this is my first critique, so I hope I do well on it! XD

Lets start with the lighting. I love how the light hitting the wolf's fur isn't painfully bright, but instead kind of dull. It works well with the color scheme.
Although the light seems to be coming from above the wolf (perhaps even a bit to the left) I would have liked to see just a little bit more light on it's front right leg. Its just looks a little strange to me, all in shadow.

I like that even though there aren't many colors in this, it isn't too simple, but it isn't too detailed. There's just a right amount of detail in the fur and the snow that really pulls the whole piece together. It's pleasing to look at.
The cheek fur and the neck fur kind of merge together, making it a tad confusing at first glance.

The tail is also a bit out of place in my opinion. Assuming that the beginning of the tail starts at the base of the spine, its would be too long, and seems awkward way off to the side like that. I think I would have looks better in a different angle.
The eyes are especially intriguing to me. They are probably the most colorful part of this (which in my opinion is a good thing) because, despite that they don't have much detail, they pull your attention towards them.

I'm not going to get too into anatomy, because I'm not too familiar with it myself and I fell that I have already made this critique long enough, but the perspective is interesting, and looks fine to me. The blank whiteness at the top of this piece is a little too empty to me, I think it would be looked better with even just a little bit of shading, just to give it depth.

In conclusion, this is really one of my favorite pieces of art, and you did a wonderful job on it making it simple, yet quite intriguing.
